The Montfort Fathers
Kulkumry Coffee Estate works in association with the Fathers from the Louis de Monfort Mission who manage the estate on behalf of our family and oversee the day-to-day running of the estate. Together, we ensure the well-fare of all our staff, plants, and creatures who call the estate their home.. To find out more about the Kulkumry Coffee Estate, please visit the estate's dedicated website.
In addition to a management fee, 10% of the profits made from our coffee goes towards supporting the Monforts' Missionary work, schools and centres for those affected by Leprosy or HIV; those in need of elderly care; and who are affected by other local social issues. You can see more about their charitable projects below or by reading about them on their website.
The Montfort Fathers of Kanathi, of course, add a special blessing to the coffee and the estate, which might help explain why our coffee tastes so good, and definitely helps explain why Kulkumry Coffee is blesséd!
St Joseph's Hospice provides help for the blind, those with mental conditions, and those in need of end of life and palliative care. Their patients are those who have no family or friends to support them and have been referred by hospitals or taken off the streets by the police and referred to St Joseph's. They accept those who are in immediate need of help and provide safe accommodation, food, and healthcare support to give patients dignity and support when they need it the most. St Joseph's is supported by Light for the Blind, UK.

Health & Wellbeing
Below, you can see a photo taken just after these children had their polio vaccines and to the right, you can see other events organised to encourage social wellbeing and community.

The Montforts help support the educational fees for children in the village of Burudikatti in the Haveri District of North Karnataka, India.
They also organise picnics and other social events for the community that lives in a remote and impoverished area.
